Here we are, seven months into our quarantine, and theatre artists across the world are steadfastly finding ways to share our stories!
One that I'm really excited about is this: my short play EMPRESS MEI LI LOTUS BLOSSOM continues its journey as one of 6 plays chosen to be part of the Abingdon Theatre Festival of Short Plays. You can see a performance of it (in competition with the other 5 plays) on Wednesday, October 21 at 7 pm (free admission), here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC9BaLBsWldW7h_fwB169tMQ
Also, The Greater Boston Stage Company has commissioned me to write and will be presenting the continuation (parts 2 and 3) of EMPRESS MEI LI LOTUS BLOSSOM via Zoom on November 20, with access available to watch it through the 24th. They are generously allotting $5 from every ticket sale, once again, to benefit the Asian American Legal Defense and Education Fund. I'm also super proud to share this song that I wrote with Kim Sherman & Scott Killian. Spoken word section is by Notorious Pink. Sung and played by members of the Broadway community.
Peace and Love to All.
