Lights are at the end of the tunnel! Hope you are all vaccinated and well! Lots of great news!
COME FROM AWAY is coming back to you! I'm thrilled to announce that the North American tour will be relaunched on October 5 in Memphis! Complete schedule through Fall of 2022 and info on tickets are here!
I'm deeply honored to have been recently elected as Treasurer of the Dramatists Guild, along with Amanda Green (our first female President), Branden Jacobs-Jenkins as VP and Kristoffer Diaz as Secretary. We each are breaking a barrier over at the Guild and I couldn't be prouder to serve alongside these brilliant writers and leaders! To read more, here's the press release.
I've been doing tons of interviews, panels and discussions surrounding these tumultuous times and ongoing efforts to #StopAAPIHate. Here is one that I did alongside Leslie Ishii, with Gordon Cox for Variety
On a lighter note, it was a joy to join the effervescent Michael Kushner on his podcast Dear Multi-hyphenate, where we talked all thing multi-hyphenate!
I'm premiering a new short play, WHO WE ARE, at the Women's Theatre Festival Fringe 2021 in July featuring the fabulous Kate Loprest, Shona Tucker and Nancy Ma. There are two performances left: July 17 at 6 pm EST and July 24 at 6:30 pm EST. Tickets are pay what you can (even if it's appreciation). More info can be found here.
Season 2 of TALKBACK, the podcast I host for the Dramatists Guild is available on the Broadway Podcast Network and other listening platforms of your choice! This season we talk about access, from many different points of view. I hope you enjoy!
I'm also super proud to share this song that I wrote with Kim Sherman & Scott Killian last Fall in support of the Biden Harris campaign. Spoken word section is by Notorious Pink. Sung and played by members of the Broadway community.
Peace and Love to All.
