*SAVE THE DATE: On Monday, March 23 at 7 pm, we'll be doing a concert of highlights from FUSONG, a new musical I've written book & lyrics for (with music by Cecilia Lin  and based on Geling Yan's novel, "The Last Daughter of Happiness") at Green Room 42 featuring Jasmine Forsberg as "Fusong", Marc dela Cruz, Stephen Bogardus, Paolo Montalban, Emy Coligado, and Brian Jose with music direction by Joshua Zecher-Ross. My new musical FUSONG (based on Geling Yan's novel "The Lost Daughter of Happiness"), for which I wrote book & lyrics with composer Cecilia Lin, conceived & directed by Gabriel Barre, just completed its first 29-hour reading/industry presentation in NYC. I wrote screenplay and lyrics with composer Michael Mott for this movie musical short, RIDING OUT THE STORM. Directed by Bruce Johnson and featuring Mimi Bessette, Wade McCollum, Diana Huey, and Mel Maghuyop, this film began as a 10-minute musical written during our time at the BMI Workshop.
